The house is the best holiday house I have ever stayed in. Will definitely come back again!:)

Our stay at the Sandy Bay Beachhouse was amazing - it was the best Holiday Home we have ever had. It was a constant struggle to pull our children away from the beach and house to also take in the sights of Hobart. We were lucky enough to watch the Sydney to Hobart yachts come up the river - they were so close we felt like we were on them. The house is stunning and immaculate and we wanted for nothing. We enjoyed BBQ’s most nights while watching the sun go down over the river. There was a great local shopping village with bakery, bottle shop, butcher and food store (and more!) just literally a few minutes walk from the house. An amazing stay - we will be back.

I have no words for what a wonderful experience it was staying in this property. The location is second to none, direct beach access, views to die for and a light filled magnificent home. The special touches and local advice/ tips made it even more pleasurable. About a 10 minute trip in to the CBD, yet far enough away from the huddle and bussle. Great walks around the waters edge. Great eateries and facilities near by. We can't wait to return. Amazing experience....

The Beachouse was the perfect spot for a long weekend in Hobart. The house is very well equipped for self catering, incl a gas BBQ and beautiful kitchen appliances. The views over the water from the living area & upstairs are sensational and it was a treat to be able to walk from the garden down the private stairs straight onto the beach and wander along the waterfront where the kids could play in the park and we could have a coffee. We’ll be back for sure!

Highly recommend to anyone with 6-8 people, great location on the water, only a 10$ Uber into Hobart city.

Words cannot express how much we enjoyed the beach house! The house was magnificent and a perfect place to relax after a day of hiking or sightseeing. The views were unmatched, the sound of the water soothing, and you cant beat the private beach access. The kitchen and baths were well appointed, and clean. The house is perfectly located, close to Hobart, yet just enough away to provide quiet tranquility.

The place is super stylish with amazing view to the beach (looks exactly as in the photos). We loved our stay and wished it was longer. Would recommend to anyone.

This house is simply stunning with the most amazing views out over the water. Inside is a delight, modern light and most stylish. We stayed in winter time and really appreciated the electric blankets, heated towel rails etc. Also the little things like the fresh flowers on our arrival. We love this house!

Amazing! Incredible house and spectacular host!

We very honestly could not have chosen a better place to stay in Hobart for our long weekend. All three generations of our family loved staying at the beach house and it was REALLY hard to leave the house every morning, we could easily have lounged around all day gazing at the water and just enjoying the wonderful home. We even cancelled our dinner plans out on Friday night and ordered in! Our two boys enjoyed exploring the beach while we relaxed at the house, Nanna loved lying in bed listening to the waves on the beach and looking out over the water. The home was SPARKLING clean and fresh, and so very warm... generous yummy kitchen treats and staples to enjoy...heavenly beds! We had intended staying in central hobart but were so glad we booked the beach house, it was only a very short drive/Uber into central Hobart and was just so peaceful.

We had a really lovely weekend at this beautiful house with fantastic views over the water and with direct access to the beach below. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Hobart and we will certainly be staying again if we happen to be down there in the future.

Absolute waterfront, with sweeping views to be enjoyed from the deck, garden or beach itself! Everything has been carefully considered. We loved the path to our own private beach. A great location for families; as parks, playgrounds, shops and restaurants are all on your doorstep.
